From the Jonesborough Courthouse on W. Main Street head northeast (toward Johnson City)
Take first left onto Boone Street
Take a right at the first light onto Jackson Boulevard (11E). The Shell Gas station will be on your left.
Go approximately 1.2 miles and take a left at the 3rd traffic light onto Headtown Road
You will only be on Headtown Road for approximately .2 miles
Your destination will be on the right.
Note: There are two churches on the right side of the road once you turn onto Headtown. The first sign you’ll see is for the Church of Christ. Pass that sign and go about 30 yards and you’ll see the Trinity Baptist Church sign on the right. Park anywhere and go in the lower level main entrance. An NSN representative will be waiting to greet you at the door and guide you to the auditorium.
NSN & ETSU will have a small tent on the lawn at Central Baptist Church located on the corner of W. Main Street & 106 Fox Street during the festival (just down from the courthouse). Trinity Church will pull their bus up beside Central Baptist church at 106 Fox Street and transport Story Night attendees in groups of 30 beginning at 5:00pm for the first show and 6:30pm for the second show. A $1 fee (for gas) is payable to the bus driver each way.

The 2009 concert featured Michael Reno Harrell, Tim Tingle, and Valerie Tutson, along with rising stars Misty and Autumn Joy Saskill, and Molly Catron. Emcee was Kindra Hall. Thank you to our sponsors: Target, Cherish Bound, Ethnohtec, Loren Niemi, Dwight Mitchell Insurance and Green Bank.
In 2008 the concert featured Diane Ferlatte, Barbara Freeman, Bobby Norfolk, David Novak, Gayle Ross, with Faye Wooden, Jonesborough Guild Teller, and Rixon Lane, National Youth Storytelling Showcase Teller.
In 2007 the concert featured Willy Claflin with Linda Poland from the Jonesborough Storytelling Guild and Ben Kemper, National Youth Storytelling Showcase Grand Torchbearer.
In 2006 the concert featured Bill Harley with Larry Kelley from the Jonesborough Storytelling Guild and Hannah Wynne.
In 2005 the concert featured Elizabeth Ellis with Storyteller Leon Overbay from the Jonesborough Storytelling Guild, Alton Chung, winner of the 2005 J.J. Reneaux Emerging Artist award, and Maggie Lowe, Grand Torchbearer from the National Youth Storytelling Showcase.
